Job Description
Looking for two full time Hosts for our beautiful secluded Glampsite close to Joshua Tree North Entrance & Twentynine Palms.
Both would take on full responsibility of keeping the campground with 9 tents, outdoor bathrooms, showers, a hangout area and two fire pit areas clean, tidy and up to a high standard. We would definitely need two best friends or a couple to make the process a lot easier.
What we provide:
Free rent in our 1 bedroom & 1 bath cabin. The cabin has a small kitchenette and runs on solar, has a biodegradable septic tank, two big water tanks, a heater for winter nights if needed. RV‘s are able to park in front of the cabin but we do not have any hookups so we suggest to live in the cabin and use the RV here and there if you feel like it.
Depending on your experience we will of course also provide a stipend on top of the mentioned free rent.
Oh & there is more to it – you will have the most beautiful views of the desert sunrises, sunsets, stars and milkyways!
Who are we looking for?
Somebody who loves to live in the desert, has fun keeping things clean and tidy and wants to grow with our campground and our vision.
A valid driver license is needed!
Campground host duties include, but are not limited to:
Keeping campground clean
Flip and clean tents – get them ready for next guests
Clean common areas such as bathrooms, showers, sinks, fire pit & hangout areas
Keep track of water and propane status and coordinate with local company to refill.
Have a laundry day at least once a week in the city.
Check-in and show new arrivals the campground.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision, and be able to learn quickly and follow instructions accurately. Willing to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Start date: August 26th
