Onsite Manager / Resort Host

Swan Lake Resort & Campground is a seasonal campground and resort offering campsites, cabins, and boat rentals in west-central Minnesota. We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Work Camper to serve as an Onsite Manager / Resort Host, helping keep daily operations running smoothly and guests feeling welcome.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, guest interaction, and light maintenance, without the pressure of formal corporate management. Owners are actively involved and available for support, making this a great opportunity for someone who wants responsibility, autonomy, and room to grow.
Schedule & Dates
May 1 – October 1 (exact start and end date is flexible)
25–50 hours/week, depending on availability and interest
Weekends required; midweek days off (often Mon/Tue)
Solo or couple-friendly
Primary Duties
Guest check-ins/check-outs, phones, and reservations
Operating office/store and managing equipment & boat rentals
Grounds, dock, beach, and restroom upkeep
Light maintenance, cleanup, and coordinating cabin cleanin
Ordering routine supplies and supporting daily operations
Ideal Fit
Dependable, self-motivated, and guest-focused
Comfortable with light physical and outdoor work
Organized and able to handle day-to-day responsibilities
Campground, RV park, marina, or resort experience a plus
Comfortable using basic technology
