Job Description

Mojave Desert Heritage & Cultural Association (MDHCA) Volunteer Docent Position

The MDHCA is seeking volunteer docents to assist with Route 66 Centennial coverage throughout 2026. Ideal position for individuals interested in history, education, museums.

Responsibilities:

Help with periodic tour groups.
Interaction with public.
Schoolhouse museum/gift shop basic admin.
Other light duties.

Compensation: Free RV hook/ups, utilities, Wi-Fi.

Commitment: 1-12 months.
