Job Description
Together Farms is looking for a very unique individual (or couple) to help spread awareness about our amazing farm to both new and potential supporters. On our farm we raise regenerative meats that we direct marketing locally and ship throughout the Midwest and we also have a seasonal on-farm restaurant from May – Oct, in addition to all of that, we just added an on-farm store that is also supporting other great products and farmers!
But, I am so busy trying to manage the day-to-day of all of this that I just can’t give social media, email or texting the attention it needs….and that’s where you come in!!
What I am imagining would be perfect, is if you could come stay for a few days every season (or as often as you’d like) and load up on tons of pictures and videos that we think we need or that present themselves to us while you are here and then as you travel around the world you could get paid to post away! While you are here at the farm we could also plan out our content calendar for the foreseeable future. Seems like this could potentially be a perfect fit for a traveler!
Right now we host RV’s through Harvest Hosts and they park in our fields (no hookups), we do have some farm dogs that don’t always get along great with other pets so we would just need to touch base on that, if you have any.
The ideal candidate:
- has marketing experience and is ready to promote products they believe in!
- is passionate about happy & healthy customers and loves good meat (and hates seed oils)
- has a sense of humor! bonus if you have a Midwest slant.
- is able to work independently
- is highly organized and enjoys task management
- has above average photography/videography skill
- is looking to grow with the farm long-term (if you do your job well and meat sales go up, we hope to buy more of the very sad conventional crop fields around us and convert them to grazing/regenerative ag!)
- thinks the solution is local community doing regenerative ag and working “together” and not Bill Gates or Klaus Schwab and their plan to have us all eating bugs in 15 minute cities. 🙂
Responsibilities may include:
- Email marketing (Drip)
- SMS marketing (Slicktext)
- Social media: daily posts, frequent reels, ad management
- Online store: product descriptions & recipe cross-utilization
- On-farm store: sales & promotions
- Online review management and cross-utilization
- TF swag & giveaways
- Occasional email customer support
- Occasional management of subcontractors & vendors
- Photography/video content as needed
- Adhere to all the policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.
Position can start immediately!
