Job Description
Twin Coves Park located on the north shore of Grapevine Lake in Flower Mound, Texas. The park includes 19 furnished cabins, 22 RV sites, and 6 primitive campsites. This campground is part of the Town of Flower Mound Parks and Recreation organization. Twin Coves is very proud of the park and campground boasting a 4.7 rating on Google reviews.
We are looking for full-time park host to join our on-sight team on or about July 20, 2025. A FHU covered site is provided along with salary @ $60/day or $80/day for holidays, plus laundry privileges. Schedule will be one week on duty followed by one week off duty.
Park hosts requirements/duties include (but not limited) to the following:
· Provide a self-contained and insured recreational vehicle that shall be parked within the property and live on-site while under agreement with the Town.
· Be on-call and available 24 hours a day while on duty (every other week).
· Make routine patrols of the park while on duty.
· Inspect the park facilities to include camp sites, restrooms, boat launch, courtesy dock, and entry gate. Report problems and potential issues to the Parks and Recreation Division.
· Additional sample tasks may include (but not limited to):
o RV Pedestal – Replace leaking or broken hose bibs, replace faulty breakers.
o RV Sites – clean and prep for guests (trash/grills/fire rings, etc.).
o RV Sites – prep for cold weather as needed.
o Cabins – AC Condenser cleaning/blow out and AC drain line blow out.
o Cabins – General handyman duties (toilet repair/water leaks/bulbs, etc.) as needed.
o Public Restroom – Clean and stock 3 times a day (or more if needed). o Public Restroom – Check equipment room for normal operations (leaks).
o Other tasks as required by Park Manager.
