Trinity Acres Campground and Tiny home Community
Job Description
Overview We are a small 8 Site campground start up located in the piney woods of east Texas. Close to I-20 and the Louisiana border , east Texas has mild winters and a relaxed country atmosphere. The 8 campsites long and short term and 2 tiny home spots are spread out on 4 acres and part of a 28 acre homestead parcel. Future expansions hope to include grazing for horses and livestock.
Responsibilities
– The Campground Host volunteer duties shall include a minimum of the following:
Greet campers and assign sites as available.
Check to see that drop in campers have registered and payed.
Mediate any conflicts with campers and camp sites.
Place “Campsite Reserved” signs in advance of campers.
Open and close front gate and campground gate at assigned times.
Provide minor maintenance and repair work as needed.
Mow grass in campsites when vacant, as needed (mower provided by Campground)
Be knowledgeable and enforce all park rules and be observant of activities within the campground.
When on duty, be on site during weekends and holidays.
Complete walk thru of campground for trash collection and fire pit checks.
Homestead property care when owners are away, including but not limited to small animal care. ( chickens , dog and possibly other animals)
This is a volunteer position with free lot rent , water , trash and internet included. Host to pay for electricity.
This is a startup campground still being worked on , looking to hire immediately. One site is operational.
Background check required and camper or tiny home must be modern and in good repair .
