JOB DESCRIPTION:
Professionally represent the National Park Service by providing high-quality customer service, opening and closing the facility, providing orientation, information, and interpretation to visitors. Informing visitors of potential safety hazards, distributing maps and brochures as requested, operating a cash register and selling bookstore merchandise, accurately collecting and accounting for monies, and operating basic audio-visual equipment. Assist NPS staff with cleaning the visitor center (sweeping, vacuuming and cleaning windows). Rove trails/grounds within park day use areas providing park users with information and assist with light trail maintenance.
TIMU is seeking a couple to fill this position at the Fort Caroline National Memorial. This position includes a recreation vehicle (RV) parking pad with power/water hookups. We do not provide lodging, just the RV parking pad.
