Job Description
We’re looking for energetic, detail oriented people to join our team! If you want an active seasonal role at a small company that offers exceptional hospitality please apply.
We need two team members who are willing and able to work across departments (front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance). We’ve hired couples to fill these two roles in the past, but are also open to hiring one single person who is interested in full time hours.
Job dates: March 1 2025- Mid June 2025
20 hours per week (for couples, that would be 20 hours for each person)
Walden retreats is a 100 acre property on the Pedernales River in the Texas Hill Country. Enjoy plenty of fresh air and expansive hill country views throughout your workday in this hands-on role. We’re a small team that loves taking care of our guests. All of us help with cleaning, all of us help with customer service – so you have to be willing to do both of those things to be a good fit!

Responsibilities:
● Responsible for cleaning tents after guest departure, including (but not limited to): stripping dirty linen and terry and replacing with new, making the bed, taking out the trash, dusting, sweeping and/or vacuuming the floor, full clean of the kitchen area, bathroom area, and outdoor spaces, and replenishing amenities and guest consumables.
● Assist with guest arrival and departures and after hours on call.
● Assist with setup and breakdown of special events.
● Assist with basic preventative maintenance, routine property upkeep, and landscaping.
Compensation is $15 per hour plus complimentary RV space and laundry facilities. Wifi is available on site in our Lodge at no cost. We offer a bonus for successful completion of the season.
