Job Description
Position Overview: Overnight Caretaker
We are seeking a responsible, grounded, self-motivated individual (or couple) to serve as an Overnight Caretaker on the property five nights per week (Sunday–Thursday). Morning or evening feeding for animals included as well.
This is a live-on-site work exchange role for someone who:
Shares in the vision of Okihi
Is comfortable with rural outdoor living
Can provide competent and consistent evening or morning animal feeding(sheep/goats/horses/dogs)
Is willing to serve as a steady and reliable overnight presence
Applicants must either provide their own trailer, bus, or mobile living unit, or may utilize a small onsite trailer if available.
You receive:
Living alongside the Kern River on 14 acres
Fresh Eggs
Water and electricity paid.
Possible periodic compensation for the right person/couple.
