Park Host

What W.O.R.D. has to offer:

• RV space for full hookups include water, septic, & 30/50A electric
• Great environment
• Beautiful views of Canyon Lake from inside the park
• Pets allowed
• Family/friends welcome to visit anytime if it doesn’t interfere with job duties
  • Overnight stays permitted in attendant RVs with W.O.R.D. approval
• Wi-Fi and Utilities are covered by W.O.R.D.
• Personal golf cart/UTV use permitted
• Boat ramp access
• Various Park amenities are available for use during non-working hours
• Separate seasonal staff hired for other park operations during operating season

What W.O.R.D. needs fulfilled:

• 1 – twelve-month contract (3/01/2026 – 02/28/2027)

Volunteer Specifications for the Park Host:

Park Host shall:

• Open and Close gates at times determined by W.O.R.D.
• Inspect Park on a daily basis.
• Assist with visitors.
• Perform minor maintenance repairs within the Park.
• Provide oversight of property.
• Create a positive and encouraging environment and experience for Park visitors.
• Other duties as required by W.O.R.D. within scope of Park Operations.

Additional Information: 

• Contract covers the Park operating season and non-operating season.
• For purposes of orientation and training, the move-in dates may be extended to up to two weeks prior to the start date if the space is available.
• Park Host may also be employed and paid as a Gate Attendant through W.O.R.D.
• Criminal, Background, and Credit Checks are conducted for all Park Hosts. Criminal & Background Checks are conducted on all other occupants (18+).
