Job Description

Responsibilities
During the day, work campers will either fill a front office or maintenance position (paid position). Work camping couples are typically scheduled the same days and have the same days off (shift times may vary slightly based on need).

Front Office Responsibilities:
– To provide top-notch customer service to all campers by applying knowledge of the K2 reservation system to meet individual customer needs. (Prior K2 experience is a plus)
– To assist the General Manager and Assistant Manager with inventory counts and store merchandising.

Maintenance Responsibilities:
– To provide top-notch customer to all campers by ensuring that the campground, and all facilities, sites, etc., are in working order and meet the need of the individual customer. (Zero-Turn Lawn Mower experience is a plus)
– To assist the General Manager and the Assistant Manager with campground improvement projects and to ensure that improvement projects are completed within the designated timeframe.

Compensation/Benefits
(1) Free site (with utilities) in exchange for taking the night phone home two-to-three nights a week.
(2) Work camper sites are located in the front of the campground and are all Standard Back-In sites (gravel pad with concrete patio).
(3) Work campers receive 25 percent off all store purchases, including all propane sales.
(4) Work camping couples work the same days as their significant other does and also have the same days off as their significant other.

Job Description
BR/TR KOA work campers are responsible for providing continuity of care and maintaining safety and security during the evening hours. Work camping couples are responsible for each working a day shift in either the front office or in maintenance. Work camping couples are typically scheduled the same day as their significant other and typically have off the same days as their significant other. The BR/TR KOA does ask that its work camping couples be knowledgeable about all aspects of the operation in order to address needs as they arise.
