Job Description

This is a seasonal position that starts in April and ends mid-October. Candidates must be 18+ and hold a valid driver license.
Looking for workamping couple to live and work on the campground. Site has full-hookups, no site fee, and can accommodate rigs up to 32′. Must bring your own camper.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for one (1) Workcamper couple with campground/hotel experience and who own an RV/Camper. Someone who works well both independently and as part of a team, can work on demand, has strong attention to detail, and is interested in providing exceptional guest services. Workampers will work from April 2024 to late October 2024.

Note: The available site is reserved for a Front Desk Manager and Grounds Supervisor, but these positions may also occasionally work in Housekeeping, Camp Host/Security, and Recreation/Activities as business needs dictate.

**Workcampers are required to work a minimum of 40 hours a week

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Workampers will work in multiple roles during the season:
  • Housekeeping
  • Grounds/Maintenance
  • Front Desk/Guest Service
  • Camp Post/Security
  • Recreation/Activities
  • Cafe/Retail

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to remain calm and friendly when confronted with upset visitors or problems
  • Management experience
  • The ability to be on your feet, drive a golf cart, and move around freely with guests
  • Ability to work positively with other campground employees and other staff members
  • Support all company policies and procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee is frequently required to climb or balance
  • The employee is occasionally required to talk or listen. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds and occasionally lift and move up to fifty pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The hospitality environment is fast-paced, and at times, you may be required to cover or assist with tasks/job functions outside of the job you were hired for. We require each of our team members to have an All-Hands-On-Deck mindset. This means you may be tasked with other functions and are expected to complete those tasks with the same level of enthusiasm and dedication as expected with your normal job duties.
