Job Description
RECREATION SUPERVISOR JOB DESCRIPTION
*To provide exceptional guest entertainment in a safe, fun, organized, and timely manner.
*Must exhibit a fun, friendly, helpful disposition at all times.
*Help/ assist the recreation staff implement daily activities. Organize supplies and materials to ensure guest satisfaction is at the highest level.
*Promote activity participation by engaging with guests
*Inspect recreation equipment and facilities to ensure safety and all is in proper working order (basketball, volleyball, Gaga Ball, Horseshoes, and Shuffleboard.)
* Assist in Special Event set up for daily events.
*Ensure daily activities start and end on time, not to create a delay in activity start times.
*Assist the recreation and lifeguard staff with any guest problems, concerns, and suggestions.
*Respond to any emergency situations as needed to offer help, aid, crowd control, obtaining witness statements, directing staff to be in proper positions / placements to assist emergency vehicles and contacting proper management when needed via radio.
*Ensure all characters (Bears & Ranger Smith™) are correctly and properly dressed before each activity. Check the activity schedule to know what character is scheduled for each event. Make sure staff is aware and scheduled for all character appearances.
*Understand all aspects of the daily activity work details that the Recreation Manager will provide. This will include all set ups needed for the day, supplies, materials and staff break times.
* Provide input for daily activity schedules.
*Guarantee that all birthday parties and wake up with the bears run as scheduled and are on time. Obtain a list from the morning operation manager that entails site number, time, and what package is needed.
