Job Description

MCG Management is seeking a professional, friendly and outgoing couple to manage an RV Park in Okeechobee, Florida. The Park Host Couple will provide excellent customer service and efficient operations by performing the following duties:

Essential Functions

  • Reports directly to the management company.
  • Performs administrative duties including, but not limited to, meeting and greeting guests and general public, answering telephones, taking messages, answering email, and monitoring the amenity center.
  • Operates office equipment such as computer, printer, and calculator.
  • Writes, types, or enters information into computer to prepare correspondence, bills, statements, receipts, checks, or other documents; copies information from one record to another as directed.
  • Processes purchases at the camp store and reconciling the till.
  • Maintains stock in the camp store.
  • Provides tours of the park to interested tenants.
  • Processes required paperwork for lease agreements and terminations.
  • Processes rent payments.
  • Mowing, landscaping, and light maintenance.
  • Preparing RV sites for turnaround.
  • Security, including night security.
  • Janitorial services for common areas.
  • Routes incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail.
  • Accepts tenant complaints, suggestions or requests.
  • Responds to tenant or staff emergency situations or immediate need situations.
  • Responsible for opening and closing of the office.
  • Maintains the integrity of the brand of the company, ensuring that all guests have a positive experience during their stay.
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned by management company.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Park Hosts will not have supervisory responsibilities.

Job Requirements

  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both verbal and written venues.
  • Must be organized and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Must have basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Personable, enjoy working with people, have a friendly personality and excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have the ability to follow instructions, policies and procedures, maintain effective working relationships with others, understand the follow safety/security policies, work flexible schedules when needed, and meet attendance standards.
  • Weekend and holiday hours are required.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Education/Experience

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Experience with customer service preferred, but not required.

Salary

The Park Host Couple’s salary is $12 per hour for a combined 40 hours per week. This position includes a complimentary full hookup site at the resort.
