DESCRIPTION:
One or Two individuals will be back up host to man the Gate House at Prairie Creek Park 3-4 days per week as needed. They will receive guest check-ins and check-outs as registered on recreation.gov.
The host couple will have a rotating shift of 4 days as required and off 4 days. They will need computer skills to use recreation.gov. for daily operations and end of shift close-outs. Friendly guest greetings and assistance is a must. Some daily routine patrols will be needed. This is a low traffic family friendly park
DUTIES
Open gate house. Sign on shift. Greet and check-in guest giving them needed hang tags and map information about their reserved site. Filling out guest cards prior to guest arrival compiled from Rec.gov registration print outs. General office work and lite house keeping duties of the gate house area only. Periodic patrols of park area. Report maintenance issues to management. Keep good working relationship with fellow host, Rangers and maintenance personnel. Will assist guest in purchase of day use and lifetime passes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Some computer skills, General office record keeping. People skills. Neat clean appearance at all times.
