Musuem Docent

Forks Timber Museum is seeking an individual or couple to assist with busy summer and possibly fall museum operations as well as possible outdoor maintenance and project work.  This is a fun opportunity for people who love interacting with friendly visitors and experiencing the many wonders of the Olympic Peninsula.  Our volunteer camper/s have generally worked 28 hours a week in exchange for a private, semi-shaded campsite nestled right behind the facility which includes water, sewer, 30/50 Amp electric service and WIFI.  Miles of forested hiking trails lie behind the museum.  Forks has a fully stocked grocery, outfitters, and hardware store, along with fuel, propane and of course, a lot of Twilight themed businesses and activities.  Based from Forks you have easy access to all coastal beaches, the Olympic National Park , Vancouver Island and a general multitude of natural beauty and adventure opportunities.  Note that this facility does not have an on-site shower.  Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions and to visit our website at  forkstimbermuseum.org.
