DESCRIPTION:
Campground Host Opportunity at Ruby Creek Campground on the Madison River about 15 minutes south of Ennis MT in southwest Montana part of the Dillon Field Office.
We are looking for friendly, customer-service focused campground hosts for our beautiful Ruby Creek Campground, located on the banks of the Madison River about a 15 minute drive south of Ennis MT. Ruby Creek Campground is an expanded amenity campground that includes large campsites, a boat ramp, vault toilets, and drinking water. The campground is open from May 1 thru October 1 annually. Our busy season runs from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. The campsites usually fill during our busy season and the boat ramp will become busy and somewhat congested during popular weekends for fishing activities. The campground is a first come first served campground with a fee tube (Iron Ranger) located on site. The host site has electricity and water cell coverage is spotty but internet may be available with the use of a cell phone booster which we provide.
- Ensuring visitors comply with fee regulations
- Educating visitors about campground regulations
- Cleaning and stocking latrines
- Cleaning fire pits and picking up litter
- Ensuring that the campground environment is safe and free of hazards
- Providing assistance in the security and maintenance of BLM facilities, equipment and tools
- Assisting visitors in checking in and out of campsites and keep compliance sheets up to date
- Providing grounds keeping as needed such as mowing and weed eating
Looking for a friendly campground host who is self motivated in a remote environment, with a desire to connect with the public.
