Job Description
Like many facilities across the northeast, finding a lifeguard for a 9-10 week season has become challenging. We are moving to a beach attendant model. Hathaway Pond is only open for swimming when a member of the staff is available for supervision, so we’re looking for the additional team member.
We have a cabin available (water, outhouse, propane and batteries included) or you can bring your own RV.
Below is the lifeguard job description. The difference for a beach attendant is no rescues are attempted. Reinforcement of the rules, maintaining a safe environment, remaining in contact with the managers by radio and reporting emergencies are the afternoon assignment. In the morning the lifeguard/beach attendant cleans the centrally located bathhouse.
