DATES: 9/5/2025 – 9/4/2026
DEPT: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Become a Campground Host — Live Where Others Vacation!
Dreaming of a life where your morning “commute” is a stroll under mixed oak and maple trees and your neighbors are happy campers from around the Nation? As a Campground Host, you don’t just stay in nature — you become a part of it.
This isn’t a desk job. It’s a front-row seat to starlit skies, crackling campfires, and the kind of quiet that recharges your soul.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Greet campers with a warm welcome and insider tips.
Help guests get settled and enjoy their stay.
Keep the campground clean, friendly, and running smoothly.
Be a helpful presence — answering questions, offering guidance, and sharing smiles.
Manage check-ins and check-outs, reservations, and visuals for Rangers on duty.
What You’ll Receive:
A free campsite with utilities.
Daily opportunities to connect with people who love the outdoors.
Time to hike, fish, explore, or just kick back by the fire.
The joy of making someone’s camping trip safer, smoother, and more memorable.
Perfect for: retirees, couples, solo adventurers, or anyone craving a simpler, more scenic way of life.
Whether you stay a season or make it a yearly tradition, hosting at a campground is more than a role — it’s a calling to be part of something natural, meaningful, and unforgettable.
Ready to trade routines for sunsets and Wi-Fi for wildlife? Join us as a Campground Host — your campsite awaits.
Benbrook Lake will provide an RV site for volunteers; volunteers must provide their own RV.
