About Lazy Day Campground
Lazy Day Campground is a family-owned, top-rated Missouri campground known for its peaceful setting, friendly hosts, and spotless facilities. Conveniently located just off I-70, the park features spacious gravel sites, a large pool, fishing pond, trails, and a warm community atmosphere.
Our motto is simple: “Arrive as campers, leave as friends.”

About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on, people-focused Park Manager to oversee the operations, guest experience, and community spirit of Lazy Day Campground.
This is a live-on-site position suited for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys a variety of indoor and outdoor work, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, fun, and welcoming environment.
The Park Manager leads day-to-day operations, coordinates events and activities, manages seasonal staff, and works with ownership to maintain Lazy Day’s excellent reputation. The role is busiest from spring through fall, with a quieter off-season (mid-November to mid-February) focused on light upkeep and planning.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day campground operations and guest services

Manage reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and guest communications

Coordinate, schedule, and supervise seasonal or part-time staff

Organize and host campground events — especially major holiday weekends (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Halloween) and occasional themed evenings or kids’ activities

Maintain facilities and ensure cleanliness of restrooms, showers, and common areas (light cleaning as needed)

Oversee pool, pond, and recreational amenities for safety and presentation

Handle vendor coordination, inventory, and small maintenance projects

Monitor budgets, expenses, and report to ownership

Maintain the park’s friendly, community-oriented reputation through exceptional guest service

Provide on-site presence for emergencies or after-hours needs

Light maintenance and seasonal prep during the off-season

Ideal Candidate
Experience in campground, hospitality, or property management

Enthusiastic, organized, and outgoing personality with strong customer service skills

Capable of both administrative and hands-on work

Comfortable leading small teams and coordinating events

Enjoys interacting with guests and fostering a welcoming community environment

Computer-literate (booking systems, email, spreadsheets)

Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to live on-site year-round

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary (DOE)

On-site RV FHU site included (tiny cabin may be available)

Utilities included or partially included (to be discussed)

Reduced off-season workload

Work in a scenic, relaxed, family-oriented environment

Couples encouraged to apply (see Groundskeeper/Caretaker role below)
