Job Description
Half Moon Bay State Beach has a 52 site campground and is located just 25 miles south of San Francisco on the beautiful San Mateo Coast. Duties include campground registration/visitor assistance, firewood sales and light maintenance tasks (i.e. toilet paper restocking, light bathroom cleaning). Full hook-ups available for camp host site. Minimum commitment: 4 months, max 7. Experienced hosts preferred, please explore what a camp host is before submitting an application stating you want to become one. 2-nights off per week; expect to be working on weekends and must be comfortable working evening hours. The volunteer application is accessible on this website and should be filled-out and mailed via USPS with dates of availability. Mail completed applications to Half Moon Bay State Beach c/o Host Application, 95 Kelly Ave Half Moon Bay, CA 94019. Incomplete or nonspecific bulk-style applications/emails will be thrown away.
