“Kampfires is seeking a seasonal Campground Manager to return each season, our season runs May 1st – October 31st (the manager is expected to arrive one week prior to opening to set up and stay one week after closing to winterize and shut down). We are offering a managers salary plus a free Premium 50amp RV site.
Our manager must have hospitality management experience as this position involves:
Hiring, training and disciplining staff
Taking reservation for the 45 site campground, 4 room inn, and 1 Airstream trailer
Checking guests in and out
Managing the swim club for locals
Managing events including birthday parties, reunions, concerts, and festivals
Managing the camper activities program
Managing the Scoops Ice Cream Stand and Putters Mini Golf also open to the public
Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning … ensure the grounds are free of trash, ensure restrooms are clean, ensure inn rooms and Airstream are clean between guests, ensure store, mini golf, pavilion, club house, arcade and pool area are clean
Ordering inventory for the store, ice cream stand, maintenance supplies, etc
Maintaining an accurate inventory of store items and Ice Cream Stand goods
Managing cash and bank deposits
Quiet hour rounds nightly
Must be available to work weekends and holidays for the 6 month period
Must live on site in your own RV, we DO NOT PROVIDE HOUSING!”
