Job Description
Fay Bainbridge Park is looking for a Camp Host. Fay Bainbridge Park is a 17-acre marine camping park with 1,420 feet of saltwater shoreline on the northeast corner of Bainbridge Island. The park contains 26 RV Sites, 14 tent sites, and currently 3 (soon to be 5) rustic cabins. It offers sweeping views of Puget Sound, the Cascade Mountains and features sandy beaches. On clear days, Mount Rainier and Mount Baker are visible from a sandy beach.
Our camp hosts are a guest’s first point of contact when they arrive at our campground. The Camp Host will greet the public, assist them with questions, help guests find a site, or provide guidance about the local area.
The Camp Host is responsible for checking trash and recycling bins daily, basic maintenance of the grounds, sites, restrooms, amenities, and additional facilities. The Camp Host will prepare campsites, maintain a reservation list, and inform guest of the campground rules. Additional duties and projects are assigned by Park District managers.
20-30 hours per week are required and the Camp Host will be provided an appropriate RV space with full hook ups. Also included are access to free Wi-Fi, electricity, and a Park District cell phone.
