DESCRIPTION:
Seeking to fill resident volunteer position in Slough Creek Campground
Campground maintenance duties include custodial services such as cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, cleaning fire-rings, and picking up occasional litter;Maintain the health and appearance of landscaping and vegetative growth; Rehabilitation of existing and construction of new rudimentary facilities; Provide a welcoming atmosphere to visitors and general visitor assistance. Position includes RV pad in exchange for 20 hrs/week.
Provide healthy and safe park facilities.
– Emptying trash
– Cleaning fire rings
– Picking up occasional little
Maintain appearance of campground
– Planting trees and shrubs
– Trimming of trees and shrubs
– Painting of buildings and facilities
– Maintaining appearance of campsites between visitors
– Report major maintenance issues to Park Rangers
Provide welcoming atmosphere to visitors
– Greeting visitors and answering questions
– Provide park information/brochures
