PSE’s Generation North team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Campground Host position!

Job Description
Puget Sound Energy is seeking applicants for a Campground Host with the Baker Recreation/ Energy Production Department, at two recreation areas located near Concrete, Washington.
This campground host position is specifically for the Kulshan Campground, boat launch and day-use areas, plus some duties at the recently constructed Lake Shannon Day-use Park.
This campground host position will support the campground operations and provide a valuable point of contact for visitors in the campground, boat launch and day-use areas, with Host will need to provide their own RV or Camper. PSE will provide the Campground Host(s) with a RV campsite, sewer and water hook-up, and 50-amp electrical service. Campground Hosts will be required to work weekends and will be entitled to two weekdays off per week.
The Campground Host is entitled to have immediate family stay with them on site and must comply with all established rules. This position will interface with PSE staff, crews, and general public.
Job Responsibilities
• Greeting customers
• Distributing brochures and leaflets
• Communicating and enforcing campground and park rules
• Collecting and accounting for fees, where and when applicable
• Tracking daily fee sheets
• Other duties include light cleaning of restrooms and litter control.
This is a seasonal, temporary position. It will begin May 23, 2022 and end September 7, 2022. While on duty, and in uniform, you are an official representative of Puget Sound Energy. It is very important that you speak and act courteously and professionally and follow all PSE safety and compliance regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
Campground Host is expected to live on site and be on call, as required by the customer.
Position requires a First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 3 months (provided by PSE).
Valid Washington state driver’s license, and camp trailer or motor home
A high-school education.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Puget Sound Energy Corporate Ethics and Policies training (to be provided).
Uniforms (to be provided).
CPR/First Aid/AED training (to be provided).
Desired Qualifications
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to do simple math and ledger entries
Handheld radio skills.
Ability to manage conflict in a professional way, if necessary to do so
