Camp Host

Approximately 40 minutes south of Carmel, this popular 189-site campground offers hiking trails, river access, waterfalls, a Nature Center, a lodge and restaurant concession. Duties vary and can include camp checks, firewood sales, staffing the Nature Center, kiosk operation and interpretation. Unreliable phone, internet and satellite service, but most local businesses provide adequate internet. Hosting opportunities available year-round.

Work Camper

Work is with coop maintenance and chickens, cleaning, feeding, and egg collecting and incubating. WARNING: RURAL WINTER. Ask if you don’t know. Part time/short term: power and space rent, RV utilities, amenities and maintenance on site. Work to stay rent free month to month to try it out, and get paid to train in the chicken and egg trade.
