Resort Host

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Rotating Week On / Week Off

Reports To: LGMR Board of Directors or Designee

Position Summary

The Resort Host serves as the on-site ambassador and operational steward of Lake Greenwood Motor Coach Resort. This role combines guest services, light facilities maintenance, housekeeping oversight, and coordination with management, contractors, and owners. The successful candidate is customer-service focused, knowledgeable about RV resort operations, detail-oriented, and flexible in responding to daily operational needs. The Resort Host represents the resort to renters, owners, prospective buyers, inspectors, and vendors, while ensuring the property is clean, safe, welcoming, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities Guest & Owner Services

· Greet renters upon arrival and assist them in locating and accessing assigned sites

· Explain resort rules and distribute maps and related materials

· Answer questions regarding resort amenities, policies, and local points of interest

· Provide information on nearby services such as groceries, restaurants, churches, attractions, and events

· Address renter concerns, including site issues, reassignments, and refunds when necessary

· Serve as a knowledgeable and welcoming point of contact for prospective lot buyers

Facilities & Grounds Oversight

· Monitor daily resort conditions and identify issues requiring attention (e.g., downed trees, power outages, site concerns)

· Perform routine inspections of:

o Clubhouse and mechanical systems

o Pool and spa

o Streets and lighting

o Boat docks

o Sewer, irrigation, and drainage systems

· Perform light maintenance and promptly report larger issues requiring outside vendors

· Reset tripped circuit breakers at sites, clubhouse, and laundry facilities as needed

· Replace light bulbs and HVAC filters

· Assist seasonally with opening and closing the pool

Housekeeping & Cleanliness

· Open and close the clubhouse daily

· Perform daily light housekeeping, including:

o Trash pickup throughout the resort

o Clubhouse interior cleaning (floors, restrooms, counters, windows, appliances)

o Outdoor kitchen, restroom, shower, and laundry facility cleaning

o Pool and spa debris removal of Furniture organization (interior and exterior)

· Restock supplies in restrooms and kitchen areas

· Maintain janitorial and owner supply closets

· Empty and restock dog waste stations

Pool & Spa Operations

· Monitor, log, and maintain pool and spa chemical levels

· Complete and maintain Certified Pool Operator (CPO) training

· Ensure compliance with safety and health requirements

Vendor & Contractor Coordination

· Greet and oversee contractors performing maintenance or repairs

· Coordinate with landscaping and maintenance vendors

· Escort inspectors during scheduled or unscheduled inspections and report findings

· Communicate unresolved issues to the Board President or designee

Administrative & Reporting Duties

· Maintain awareness of sites for sale and ensure marketing materials are available

· Report immediate safety concerns and urgent maintenance needs

· Communicate longer-term maintenance, repair, or capital improvement needs to the Board or Facilities Committee

· Interact regularly with owners and renters to identify emerging issues

Qualifications & Skills

· Strong customer service and communication skills

· General knowledge of RV resort operations

· Basic computer proficiency

· Ability to perform light maintenance and housekeeping tasks

· Observant, proactive, and detail-oriented

· Flexible and able to respond to issues as they arise

· Comfortable interacting with guests, owners, vendors, and inspectors

Compensation & Benefits

· Full-time position with rotating week-on/week-off schedule

· Weekly monetary compensation: $150 per week

· Complimentary RV site with full utilities for the duration of service

· Access to all resort amenities, including clubhouse, pool, spa, and social activities

Host-Provided Equipment

· Mobile, self-contained Class A or select Super C motorhome Training & Supervision

· Reports to the LGMR Board of Directors or designee

· Training provided in:

o Renter registration and entry procedures

o Refund processing

o Daily, weekly, and seasonal duties

o Vendor coordination and escalation procedures

· Will need to obtain Pool Operator Certification
