JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Forest Service is seeking candidates that have a love for the outdoors with a camp trailer, RV, or cabover camper. Ideally, they will be able to work well with Forest Service personnel and have patience with the public.
Lye Creek Campground has 13 campsites, 1 large group campsite and three vault toilets. There is a stream that runs through the campground. The season is typically from May/June to September/October.
Duties include: Light campground maintenance such as weedeating and tree and brush trimming, restroom cleaning, assisting visitors with questions and issues.
Lye Creek Campground is about 60 miles North of Winnemucca Nevada, its nestled in a beautiful aspen stand with a small creek running through it. Lots of beautiful flowers and scenery, amazing wildlife from Mule Deer, Big Horn Sheep, Antelope, Sage and Ruff Grouse.
