JOB DESCRIPTION:
Pine Flat Dam & Lake offers an excellent opportunity to stay in a beautiful location while assisting Park Rangers steward public lands. Volunteers are an essential part of the Pine Flat team, providing support through routine maintenance of recreation, campground, and wildlife areas. Volunteers may also be asked to provide information to visitors, provide natural resource project assistance, litter/ash/debris removal, landscaping, painting, etc. Volunteer schedules are flexible, allowing volunteers to explore Pine Flat Lake and other local areas including Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia National Parks. Term of volunteer service must be a minimum of 3 months. Volunteers are permitted to stay at campsites with full hookups when completing either 20 or 30 hours per week (Single individuals / couples).
