Job Description
Pend Oreille County Park is located in Southern Pend Oreille County, in the northeast corner of Washington state. Just 25 miles north of Spokane and 50 miles west of Sandpoint Idaho, the park is 440 acres of forested landscape that is home to an equestrian area, disc golf course, 7 miles of trails, a day use area and a small campground. Hosting is light duty, with the tasks of restroom cleaning and stocking, litter control, minor grounds keeping and fee collection and reporting. It is estimated that host duties would not exceed 3 hours per day. Schedule is 4 days on, 3 days off. This opportunity is extended to 2 host positions, and there is schedule flexibility with mutual agreement. Interested parties must complete a volunteer application, sheriff’s background check and sign a volunteer agreement. Anticipated commitment is mid may through end of September, with possible extensions negotiable.
