Retreat Host
About us:
Our mission is to enable unforgettable experiences outdoors with family and friends. Our retreat near Anchorage, AK consists of several dry cabins, tent camping spots, and a few residential buildings. We are actively working to open up as much of the sites and property to the public as possible, and are looking for help to do that!
Host Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality customer service to all visitors
Daily housekeeping of the shower house, cabins, and grounds clean-up
Regularly inspect campground facilities, cabins, etc.
Be prompt and reliable in reporting for work. Notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to work.
Use proper tools and equipment (provided) to safely perform duties.
Maintain a professional campsite appearance.
Keep an accurate record of the hours you worked on a project
Time Commitment
2023: ASAP- November 1st (or a little earlier/later depending on your preference). Potential for year-round if desired.
2024: TBD – June through October preferred.
At least 20 hours per week of paid work (more available if desired); staying at the host campsite is free.
As long as you can work the essential duties/hours, it’s completely fine to have another freelance/contracting job!
We have wifi and decent cell service!.
Qualifications
Must be able to provide professional, welcoming customer service.
Have your own self-contained, hard sided RV or Camper
Familiar with basic cleaning, experience with painting and minor carpentry preferred
Self-motivated, able to self manage
Good communication skills
Must be 21+ years old, and have a valid drivers license
Have your own self-contained, hard sided RV or Camper
Be able to lift up to 60 lbs
Be able to pass a background check

Additional information:
Hosting opportunities are open to individuals as well as couples/families/groups. Hosts must fit in a single campsite.
Hosts are provided with any tools/equipment needed to do their job (ex. shovel, trash bin, garden cart, gloves)
