As a worker-camper at Oostema Farmstead, your responsibilities encompass various tasks, including tending to daily yard work, maintaining the grounds, overseeing campsites, and ensuring the cleanliness of bathroom and shower facilities. Occasional light cleaning tasks may be required as necessary. A bonus is given for candidates with prior experience in working with cattle, farm equipment, or a background on a ranch.
Please take full advantage of our amenities, such as RV electrical/water hookups, an on-site dump station, WiFi, and laundry facilities. Immerse yourself in the daily operations of a genuine Wagyu Cattle farm, surrounded by opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, birding, kayaking, and leisurely sightseeing.
Whether you’re an individual or a couple, the commitment is flexible, and hours may vary. We request at least sixteen hours per week, and your campsite is provided. If you’re interested in additional work, paid opportunities for extra chores may be available. Our farm is exclusively for adults, and while we may allow one pet, we strive to maintain a balanced environment for the comfort of both guests and our farm animals.
