Job Description
Welcome to Colonial Woods Family Campground, nestled in the heart of Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania. We take pride in offering families and outdoor enthusiasts an unforgettable camping experience. Our campground is conveniently located just an hour away from Philadelphia and New York. We are looking for a couple or individuals to fill the positions below during our 2024 camping season. Our season starts April 1st and ends Oct 31, 2024
We have two primary roles:
1.) Housekeeping
Housekeeping will help clean our 8 cabins, laundry room, and the 3 bathhouses. Each cabin has a master bedroom, bunk bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and living / dining room. Laundry Room We have high standards for cleaning, which is what our guests expect.
2.) Landscaping / Maintenance
The landscaping/maintenance role will help with lawn maintenance, maintaining RV sites (raking, clearing fire pits, weeding), trash pick up, cleaning 3 bathhouses, general groundskeeping, etc. The successful candidate must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Responsibilities:
As a Work Camper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a memorable and comfortable stay. Your responsibilities will include:
Cabin and Bathhouse Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining our cozy cabins and bathhouses to ensure they are in top-notch condition for our guests’ enjoyment.
Campground Maintenance: General upkeep of the campground, including cleaning campsites, mowing, weed whacking, and other maintenance tasks to keep our grounds pristine.
Guest Assistance: Providing friendly and helpful assistance to guests, answering questions, and helping create a welcoming atmosphere.
