DESCRIPTION
Volunteer Activities• Campground Host • General Assistance Photo Courtesy of NPS Description Duties will include, but are not limited to the following: 1) Work at or near the campground kiosk assisting visitors with check-in procedures. Disseminate information about Big South Fork natural land cultural history, hand out park folders, answer visitor questions. 2) Roam the campground to visit with campers, share information, correct minor infractions and keep park staff aware of vacancy status and other problems. 3) Police campground for litter and trash. Assist maintenance with cleanup and maintenance of restrooms. Benefits include opportunity to live within the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. The opportunity to visit with and add to the experience of many Park visitors. The opportunity to work outdoors in the campground and to enjoy Park programs and resources.
