CAMPGROUND: Mammoth Spring National Fish Hatchery

RV INFORMATION: Trailer/RV PadsDescription: 2 RV pads are available with water, sewer and electric hook-ups. Camp sites may also have access to a clubhouse with full kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. Common areas can be used for group meals and gathering with other work camper volunteers. Includes access to wifi. We are working on alternative laundry facilities in the event the house is being occupied.

Volunteer duties include manning the Welcome desk and gift shop; feeding and cleaning aquariums; cleaning windows, bathrooms and floors; maintaining flower beds; helping with educational field trips and festivals; helping construct and maintain propagation materials; helping develope/construct educational areas around the property; other duties as assigned. Volunteers utilizing one of our RV pads are required to work 20-24 hours per individual per week to receive free hook-ups. Minimum stay of 2 months is required. Local volunteers are also welcome and hours are flexible. Mammoth Spring NFH is located on the Spring River in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. It is also close to a number of State Parks, large springs and other rivers providing tons of opportunities for swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking and camping.
