Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking Stockers to join our team for the 2021 season at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
Stocker Team Members may work across shipping, receiving, and inventorying or be dedicated to a specific team. Our ideal candidate is organized, committed to completing tasks with accuracy and efficiency, and a great team player.
We are seeking candidates with a passion for the outdoors that enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We have dorm-style housing and RV Sites available. We also offer an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities for our associates.
Responsibilities
Unload, unpack, and inspect shipments of products. Report any damage, missing items, or inconsistencies as directed.
Responsible for pricing items with appropriate mark-ups and labeling with the size and color for inventory control.
Replenish store merchandise for guest.
Maintaining the recycling program, collecting cardboard and placing in the appropriate areas.
Assisting in the maintenance of merchandise counts, daily records, and transfers within the inventory system.
Assist in physical inventories.
Inform supervisor of any low or over abundance in stock.
Ensures that all work areas are neat clean and organized with strong attention to safety.
Performs any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Computer knowledge and good communication skills.
Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle counts accurately.
Physical Requirements
Must have the ability to carry and lift up to 55 pounds and stand all day.
Frequent bending, stooping, carrying, walking, and reaching above the shoulders.
Must have the ability to climb stairs frequently
