Job Description
Cedar Hill State Park is looking for volunteers to commit 24 hours per week to assist with customer service at our park headquarters in exchange for a full hookup campsite (water, electricity, and sewer).
Tasks will consist of: answering telephones; interacting with large numbers of guests; answering questions and disseminating park information; registering campers and collection of fees; light cleaning and maintenance to include litter pick-up; and other office duties as assigned.
Volunteers considering this opportunity should have the ability to use computers. Cash-handling experience is preferred.
Days vary based on volunteer availability, must be available on Saturday and/or Sunday at least every other weekend. Must have at least a Class C RV, 5th wheel, or bumper-pull trailer. Three – six month committment.
The park features multiple boat ramps, fishing, geocaching, and over 15 miles of hiking and biking trails.
