Job Description
As we are evolving, so has the campground’s needs. We are now offering a large Full Hookup RV Pad. Team/Couple Preferred. We are also interviewing for a single-person position.
BRIGHT STAR CAMPGROUND
NEAR MESA VERDE NATIONAL PARK and CORTEZ, COLORADO
Term: Now – October, 2023 , possibly year-round with fewer hours in the off-season.
Approximately 60 hrs per week are shared between two people. This is a Camp Host, Housekeeping/Cleaning & Light Grounds work position with base pay + RV accommodations for immediate hire. The season is through October 15, 2023 but there is potential for it to last longer.
This position includes:
- Free On-site Laundry through Oct 15 (or when water is shut down for freezing night temperatures.
- 12 hours per day split between two people, 5 days/week.
- Base Pay + RV Pad Accommodations
- 5 Evenings of “camp hosting” which includes meeting guests at the gate in a Golf Cart and showing them to their campsites. (Guests have reservations before they arrive).
- 3-4 hours of housekeeping on the campground, 5 days/week
HOST MUST HAVE EXCELLENT HOSPITALITY SKILLS, a clean appearance & also communicate effectively through texting with the owners, management and arriving guests. A business iPhone is provided for days on duty.
We are a small unique Mom & Pop run campground with a variety of Campsites such as Tipis, Camping Cabins, Tent, Van and Camper sites. There is also an Airbnb Vacation Rental house on the property. The majority of our guests come to see Mesa Verde Nat’l Park.
We have over 600 5-star reviews on Airbnb alone who love our location, hospitality, and vibe.

You can EMAIL us now, send a resume, tell us about yourself, your pets, send photos of you and your RV, and ask any questions. A “Newer” RV is not required.
Background checks are required. “Perfect” backgrounds not required but we are held to a certain standard.
Cannabis is legal in Colorado and allowed at Bright Star Campground in the privacy of your site.
