Job Description
Volunteer Camp Host for Folsom Lake SRA (State Recreation Area). Season: Summer (6 months, April 1-September 30) Hours per week: 30 Schedule (3 days on, 3 days off, repeat) Three Camp Host positions available: 1 at Peninsula campground, 2 at Beal’s Point campground. Beal’s Point campground is located off Auburn‐Folsom Road in Placer County, CA Peninsula campground is located off Rattlesnake Bar Road in El Dorado County, CA The camp host duties consist of but are not limited to: • Updating the Rangers on the ever changing visitation and needs of the campground • Registering new campers and providing basic information to visitor • Basic campground maintenance and upkeep • Staying on site during peak days and hours of visitation • Conduct wood sales Camp Hosts will have free hook up access during their volunteer service and be eligible to earn a State Parks Volunteer pass for the next calendar year.
