Seeking to fill one Park Host (couple) position at Elm Brook Park from May 28 – September 5, 2022.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Elm Brook Park is seeking a dependable, enthusiastic, and hardworking volunteer Park Host couple to join our team for the 2022 recreation season (May 28 – September 5, 2022). Duties include, but are not limited to, staffing the park entrance booth, collecting user fees, selling annual passes, answering visitors’ questions, and assisting Corps staff as needed. Campsites with full hookups will be provided in exchange for 24-32 hours of work per week. Thank you for your interest!
Duties include but are not limited to staffing the park entrance booth during hours of operation, collecting user fees, selling USACE annual passes and National Park passes, answering visitors’ questions, and assisting Corps staff as needed.
We will require a Special Agreement Check (SAC) FBI fingerprint check prior to starting this position.
Vaccination Status: Per the Official Visitor guidance, volunteers assigned to or whose service requires their presence in USACE buildings or government vehicles must:
- Complete DD Form 3150, “Contractor and Visitor Certification of Vaccination” and show it to authorized DOD personnel upon request.
- If they are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or decline to share their COVID-19 vaccination status, they must also possess and present an electronic or paper copy of a negative FDA-authorized or approved COVID-19 test result within the 72 hours immediately prior to the date of entry; and
- Maintain completed form (or test result, if necessary) on their person for the duration of their visit and present it to the volunteer manager or volunteer supervisor, as needed; and
- Comply with all public health protocols in place at the USACE project or office.
