JOB DESCRIPTION:
Opportunity Description: Assist visitors with questions and complaints. Conduct weekly
inspections of park facilities and report any maintenance needed to be done Via Work Order.
Maintain all equipment that have been assigned to campground. Mow assigned area a
minimum of once per week or as needed to maintain a 2 3/4-inch grass height. Weed eat or
spray around all camp sites, utilities and amenities. No spraying around trees. Volunteers are
expected to get mower as close as possible without damaging equipment, trees, utilities, or
amenities. All mowing, and weed eating when needed, should be done Mon-Thur. Mowing
and weed eating from Fri– Sun may need to occur in instances when grass grows exceptionally
fast or when park visitation is high. Sites must be vacant for mowing to occur unless asked to
do so by the visitor on that site or by the volunteer coordinator or his/her designated
personnel. All mowers must blow grass and debris away from roads, campsites, utilities,
amenities, and facilities. Clean out all fire rings and grills at assigned camp sites. Clear off
picnic table pad from all debris. Pick up all trash. Trim trees off all walking trails near your
designated area. Conduct other various duties as needed. Volunteer agreement will be
reevaluated every six months to the date to the agreement. A/A: site 56-69, 82,84,86,90-93
bathhouse #3.
Park Host will be provided with a designated camp site, but must provide their own camper. Camper must be in good condition and site must be kept neat. Water and Electric will be provided, as well as a dump station.
