Job Description

We have a community of 16 tiny homes, with more currently under construction, all located on the same property. We’ve had a full-time cleaner for the past eight years, and she’s looking for a little help to spread the workload.

We’re looking for someone with a very keen eye for detail. Cleanliness is something we take a lot of pride in, and it shows in our excellent guest reviews, so we have high expectations when it comes to cleaning.

Hours and days will vary, but the primary days we need help are Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. If some of those days are slower, our home is adjacent to the property and we would also appreciate help there. We have several kids, and keeping up with everything around the house can be challenging for my wife and me. Would love to find somebody that enjoys kids as well, or there could be an opportunity to help out in other ways also to keep your hours up.

The position includes 5 hours per week in exchange for a spot on the property, with internet and utilities included. Any additional hours would be paid at $15 per hour. We can guarantee at least 30 hours per week, and for the next several months it will likely be quite a bit more.

Ideally, we’d love to find someone who wants to stay long-term. There may also be opportunities to grow into a larger role, potentially helping with the business or office side of things in the future.

We currently have one full-time maintenance person who lives on site, and he’s great to work with.

At the moment, we only have a 30-amp hookup available. For the right person, we may be able to get creative and add a 50-amp hookup, but currently 30-amp is what we have.

Guest checkout is at 11:00 AM and check-in is at 4:00 PM, so work would typically begin around 9:00–10:00 AM as guests start to leave, and it would be rare to work past 4:00 PM. Occasionally, we may ask you to be on call in the evening in case a guest cleaning issue comes up.
