Job Description

First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park is an archaeological site with possibly the largest bison cliff jump in North America and is designated as a National Historic Landmark. The volunteer position at the Jump is unique in that it is a site host no camp host. The person generally volunteers a set schedule 10am – 630pm Sat – Mon in the visitor center with 30 min lunch break.  They are off evenings and Tues – Fri. The site is located about 50 feet to the visitor center. We have electricity, water, and sewer hookups. The location has excellent cell service. This position offers a $100.00 per month stipend for volunteers. Pets are welcome at the park under the State Park guidelines of keeping them on leash.
