Maintenance

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and self-motivated year-round Handyman to join our campground team. This full-time position is responsible for maintaining and improving our facilities, grounds, and infrastructure to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for our guests in every season. The ideal candidate has strong general maintenance skills, with experience in electrical, plumbing, and general contracting work highly preferred. Responsibilities include performing routine repairs and preventative maintenance on cabins, bathhouses, and common areas; maintaining water, sewer, and electrical hookups; operating equipment for mowing, grading, and snow removal; completing carpentry and small construction projects; and responding promptly to guest maintenance requests. Candidates must be comfortable working independently, able to lift 50-plus pounds, and willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including weekends and holidays during peak season. A valid driver’s license is required. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background and drug screening. Sunset Park Campground is a family-run, community-focused campground known for its warm atmosphere, beautiful grounds, loyal seasonal campers, and fun events all summer long. Compensation and dates: Competitive hourly/salary pay, on-site housing for the season (camper site or apartment housing agreement), and the option to return each year. Typical peak season runs from mid-March through late-October.
