Campground Host/Hostess
Job Description
Location: McAuley’s Family Campground
Commitment: Friday-Sunday and Holidays
Compensation: Free RV space with full hook-ups (water, electricity, and sewer)
Summer Season: April 2024 – October 2024
Summary of Job Purpose
The primary responsibility of a Campground Host/Hostess is to ensure the security of the campground, including greeting guests and providing information about the campground and facilities, and enforcing Rules and Regulations. Campground Host/hostess must set and lead by example by being a model guest by practicing good housekeeping at all times in and around their assigned unit and by observing all rules and regulations. Must be able to pass a background check.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Campground Host is expected to comply with all campground Host duties, company policies and procedures. They must be observant for activities within the campground requiring immediate attention and communicate to supervisor.
Must perform the following:
– Greet guests and answer any questions that they may have.
– Assist with Checking guest in and out and explain the campground layout and direct guests to campsites.
– Enforcement of Rules and Regulations
– Maintain a neat and orderly campsites and work area.
-Assist other employees when asked.
– Maintain and clean restroom facilities
– Maintain private pool
-Knowledge of where tools and supplies are located.
Job Qualifications
Age 18 and above
Own an RV, camper, or van conversion
Strong customer service experience
Ability to operate duties as assigned
Proficient experience in cash handling (preferred)
Proficient in email and basic computer skills (preferred)
Experience with janitorial and grounds keeping (preferred)
Commitment for entire season April – October (preferred)
Proof of personal auto insurance: $250/$500 bodily injury and property damage liability once contracted
Successful completion of a criminal background check
