Seasonal Dishwasher – JR5658
Location: Mt Carmel, Utah.
Zion Mountain Ranch is an elevated sanctuary just 3 miles from the East Entrance of Zion National Park, set on a roaming bison preserve. Guests can choose from thoughtfully crafted cabins and bespoke lodges and enjoy on‑site experiences including guided horseback riding, bison feedings, and Cordwood, a field‑to‑fork restaurant featuring ingredients from the ranch’s organic gardens.

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for washing dishes and all cooking materials by machine or hand, maintaining kitchen work areas and equipment in clean conditions, sweeping and scrubbing floors, bussing tables, serving food, and sorting and removing trash. (Seasonal working dates: March 15th- November 1st)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Produce, clean and sanitize pots, dishes and utensils in a timely fashion manually or with dish machine.
Maintain proper use of dish machine by monitoring cleaning product levels and temperatures.
Store all items in their proper place.
Provide high quality service for guests and fellow employees with a friendly and cooperative attitude.
Maintain dish stations. Keep them clean and free of debris. Help with trash removal, composting and recycling efforts.
Maintain kitchen floors, keeping it clean and dry.
Clean kitchen walls, equipment, and other areas, as assigned.
Know health department guidelines regarding water temperature, slippery floors, knife handling, and proper use of machinery and equipment.
Working knowledge of all chemicals, proper uses, appropriate quantities, and emergency procedures, as detailed on MSDS sheets.
May provide assistance with bussing tables, cleaning food court areas and lifting and storage of food.

Work Location:
Due to the in-person nature of the hospitality business, this position is on-site. RV space with hook ups are available at no cost for employees, limited employee housing at no cost is available on-site and commuting from the local vicinity is also acceptable.
Due to the nature of our business, Zion Mountain Ranch is open every day. You must be prepared to work a schedule which may include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Ability to follow Food and Beverage Manager and Lead Chef kitchen requirements.
Ability to get along well with people, be honest, punctual and reliable.
Ability to remain calm and friendly.
Ability to physically work as a Kitchen and Restaurant Staff member.
Ability to adapt to changing work conditions.
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
