Job Description

If you enjoy living + working in a stunning outdoor setting then Pacific Dunes Resort may be for you! We are looking for an energetic personality or two who will take pride in contributing to all facets of our hospitality operation. Our needs include groundskeeping, maintenance support, reservations, and guest relations. Handy(wo)man skills are highly valued! Our company culture is to work hard, play hard. If you have a strong work ethic and desire to learn new things you can thrive in our environment. We want this job to be a foundation that propels you towards pursuing your passions off the clock. Active lifestyles and folks who enjoy being part of their local community is important. This job is for someone with a can-do attitude who is healthy and fit—physically, mentally and emotionally. Basic physical requirements are the ability to physically walk around the five-acre property, all guest accommodations and RV park, and to be able to physically handle strenuous activity at times i.e. moving picnic tables or furniture. Personalities needs to be upbeat and possess a desire to be friendly and engaging with guests, and assist your coworkers, with an ability to see the big picture of what we are all here to accomplish each day. The ability to work with a flexible job description is critical but know that the on-site innkeeper has your back. There is also a need to help with the after-hours phone. This will be explained in an interview. We are currently in a renovation and growth phase and need you to pitch in with projects along with day to day responsibilities. You aren’t afraid to look something up online to help fix something or solve a problem. You may be asked to assemble a piece of furniture, rip out carpet, paint a wall, help design a dog play area or water plants. Or maybe you don’t even need to be asked! Don’t fret—you don’t need to be an expert at any of these things. It’s the attitude, physical ability and willingness to go for it that matters most. Are you getting the picture? The unit mix features 5 bungalows, 53 tiny homes, 6 glamping tents, and 20 RV sites. Schedule will fluctuate based on the seasons but generally, you’d be working 4-5 days, 40-hour weeks. We can’t say enough about how amazing Copalis Beach is to live in. We are located on a beautiful beach + at the gateway to Olympic National park. We are super close to incredible outdoor activities and there is no better place than the Northwest Pacific Ocean in the summer. Compensation can vary based on experience and includes a full hook-up site (30 amp electric) in the RV park, and free laundry facilities. Applicants need to have their own self-contained RV. We are currently looking for seasonal support for the high season we are ramping up to, but year-round employment is a possibility for the right candidate with a flexible skill set.
