We are seeking a high-energy, professional individual to join our team as a Full-Time Office Assistant for Our Grand Island KOA Journey property in Doniphan, NE. This person must be trustworthy, committed to providing the ultimate experience for our guests, and have a keen eye for the little details. Our company has been growing rapidly and the right individual for this role is very organized, great with people, and comfortable with shifting priorities.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to answering telephones, taking reservations, taking messages, providing general information, greet and direct visitors, open and route incoming mail, distribute correspondence and other material, light cleaning around the facility, processing payments and following up on leads, conduct collection efforts for delinquencies, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires high school diploma/GED equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in office administration.
- Must be able to work well with people demonstrating a customer care focus even when communicating in person, written form and by telephone.
- Exhibit a professional, positive, team-oriented attitude.
- A willingness to learn (and ability to learn quickly) and apply effectively new/revised processes and procedures or skills.
- Computer proficiency (including Microsoft Office and Google Platform) required.
- Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence, present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, policy manuals and maintenance instructions is required.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task accordingly in a customer-focused environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Compensation: $15 / hr – Hourly Non- Exempt
