Maintenance

Deep Lake Campground is looking for a Maintenance Technician. Your role is pivotal in ensuring a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing camping environment. This position goes beyond traditional maintenance tasks; it involves a proactive approach to campground upkeep, including conducting regular inspections and performing minor repairs on facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the pristine condition of outdoor areas, such as trails, picnic spots, and communal spaces, ensuring they are always ready for guest enjoyment.

JOB TYPE: FULL TIME – SEASONAL

PAY: $13.00 – $15.00 PER HOUR

FHU: Site Rent included

EXPECTED HOURS: 40 HOURS PER WEEK

QUALIFICATIONS FOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN:

**MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS**
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Must be able to work out doors
Must be friendly and courteous and strive for
excellent customer service

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain park lawn, weed eating, picking up debris,
leaf blowing
Site clean up: cleaning out fire pits, garbage
removal
Deliver firewood, fill propane tanks
Assist activities/recreation department when
required for event set up and break down
Will need to become very familiar with campground
layout, sites, lodging units as well as the rules and
regulations at the campground
Pressure washing buildings
Basic electrical and plumbing skills
Basic regular maintenance: painting, changing a
faucet, etc.
Should be able to lift 75 pounds
Other duties as needed
