RV PARK MANAGEMENT COUPLE
QUARTZSITE ARIZONA | FULL-TIME | YEAR-ROUND
Are you the couple who can make the park feel like HOME? Do you enjoy the challenge of mastering something new? Can you fill the park with wonderful people, help create fun times and lasting memories, and ensure the park is a place everyone wants to be and is proud to call home?
POSITION
It requires two people to share responsibilities: one focused on office tasks and the other on handyman and groundskeeping duties. The couple must manage all the park functions to keep the park running safely and respectfully while ensuring the business is profitable and maintains property value.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time, Year-Round position. The management couple is required to live on-site. Daily routines are flexible, with hours varying day-to-day based on park reservations and the time of year. Typically, summer months are slower, requiring fewer hours and allowing for more personal time.
Shared Salary Package Includes Paychecks issued bi-weekly via direct deposit, an on-site manager’s house with all utilities, Wi-Fi, phone service, free laundry, and an additional RV site if needed. Access to a golf cart, ATV, truck, and all park amenities.
SHARED RESPONSIBILITIES
OFFICE
As the primary contact for the owner and tenants, a friendly demeanor, excellent customer service skills, and practical communication skills are required, which foster a welcoming and professional environment.
Rent Collections, Sending Invoices, Deposits, and Reporting Forms.
Taking reservations, collecting required information, updating the reservation book, and completing lease agreements.
Handling phone calls for reservations, questions, and payments.
Managing email – responding to inquiries, reviews, and reservation changes.
Organizing fun activities and maintaining the park’s event calendar (bingo, cards, cookouts, dress-ups, treasure hunts, etc.).
Keeping the park full to reservation capacity.
Communicating with the ownership team as requested.
GROUNDSKEEPING/HANDYMAN
Diagnose and repair problems in appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, lighting, meters, roofing, and structural issues. Contact appropriate businesses for estimates on repairs beyond our capabilities. Communicate with the ownership team regarding any problems requiring outside assistance.
Maintain the park’s appearance through landscaping cleanup, trimming, weeding, raking, watering, and debris or pet waste removal.
Ensure property cleanliness through custodial work in common areas, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and pressure washing buildings and sidewalks.
Maintain inventory and upkeep of all equipment, tools, and supplies.
Enforce campground rules and policies to ensure safety for all.
Provide ideas and recommendations to the ownership team to streamline processes, procedures, park updates, pricing, etc.
Perform work orders or other tasks as requested by the ownership team.
